Transparency

The International University Center Haiti (“UniHaiti”) requires all funds expended be reviewed by an outside accounting firm, assuring total transparency for our donors. Every dollar spent has a receipt, is categorized by program expense, and is certified authentic by multi-lingual accounting staff.

We are confident that our organization is operating at the highest standard of accountability and best practices. Donations are maximized through a policy that allows for zero graft, corruption, or bribery often encountered in post-disaster work.

Copies of The International University Center Haiti audited financial statements will be filed annually through the James Jay Dudley Luce Foundation with the Department of Charities, New York State, Albany, New York, as well as on a regular basis with the Clinton-Bush Initiative and the Haitian Reconstruction Commission.

The James Jay Dudley Luce Foundation will serve as the fiscal sponsor for The International University Center Haiti. The Foundation, represented by the prestigious international law firm DLA Piper, is a New York State Foundation with IRS 501(c)3 status pending.
